The State Council of Higher Education for Virginia is pleased to present a report on the operation of the Consortium for Continuing Higher Education in Northern Virginia as directed by Senate Joint Resolution No. 67 of the 1972 General Assembly.

We wish to thank the four member institutions of the Consortium -- George Mason University, the University of Virginia, Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, and Northern Virginia Community College -- for their support in making this cooperative :venture in the area of continuing education a reality. This effort has been of assistance to the State Council in developing a Statewide Plan for Regional Consortia for the Coordination of Continuing Higher Education Offerings.

Therefore, in compliance with the Resolution, we present this report.
