Executive Summary:

The Secretaries of Human Resources and Public Safety were requested to conduct a study of the needs of medically indigent children by House Joint Resolution No. 55, agreed to by the House of Delegates and the Senate of Virginia during the 1980 Session.

In response to the direction of the General Assembly to conduct a study on the needs of medically indigent children, the Secretaries of Human Resources and Public Safety requested that the Division for Children carry out the study on their behalf.
