The report provides information from 2002 on the status of Virginia’s surface and ground water resources. The document includes data on water use, discussion of activities related to surface and ground water management areas, and a summary of the water supply planning process initiated last year. The report also identifies some improvements needed to some of the ground water models used in DEQ permit programs.
