RD186 - Annual Report of the Department of Human Resource Management


Executive Summary:
Section 2.2-1201, paragraph 15, of the Code of Virginia requires the Department of Human Resource Management to submit a report to the members of the General Assembly on or before September 30 of each year showing (i) the total number of full- and part-time employees, (ii) contract temporary employees, (iii) hourly temporary employees, and (iv) the number of employees who voluntarily and involuntarily terminated their employment with each department, agency or institution in the previous fiscal year.

The enclosed reports are provided in response to this Code requirement for fiscal year 2004. Two reports provide the numbers of salaried, hourly, adjunct faculty, and contract employees by Branch of government and by agency, respectively. A third report displays the number of approved positions for constitutional officers and their employees. The final report provides the number of voluntary and involuntary separations, by agency, for agencies with positions on the Personnel Management Information System (PMIS).
