Executive Summary:
The statutes that empower the Joint Legislative Audit and Review Commission (JLARC) also require this biennial report, as a means of keeping the full Assembly informed of JLARC’s work. The report includes an explanation of JLARC’s oversight role, a list of key findings and recommendations from recent studies, and a scorecard on JLARC’s performance measures. Key recommendations that have been implemented are identified as well as savings reported by State agencies from implementing JLARC’s recommendations.
