RD133 - U. S. Route 58 Corridor Development Program


Executive Summary:
Item 456 B.3. of Chapter 874 of the 2010 Acts of the Assembly directs the Commonwealth Transportation Commissioner to report on the cash balances in the Route 58 Corridor Development Fund. The report shall include: (i) a comparison of actual spending to allocations by project and district, (ii) expenditures by project, district and funding sources and (iii) a six-year plan for planned future expenditures from the Fund by project and district.

Allocations and expenditures are shown as of April 30, 2010 based on the FY 2010-15 Six-Year Improvement Program (SYIP). Total expenditures were $1.141 billion for the Route 58 Corridor Development Program. This includes $415 million in Bristol District, $80 million in Hampton Roads District, $145 million in Lynchburg District, $247 million in Richmond District, and $254 million in Salem District.
