HD2 - Review of Local Incentives to Collaborate on Capital Projects and Other Services


    Executive Summary:
    House Joint Resolution 570 of the 2011 Session directed the Joint Legislative Audit and Review Commission (JLARC) to study the costs and benefits to the Commonwealth of providing financial and other incentives to localities that collaborate on capital facility construction projects and other operating services.

    JLARC staff plan to complete the review of local incentives and brief their findings to the Commission no later than November 2012. A report of the Commission's findings will be submitted to the General Assembly and the Governor, and an executive summary and the report will be submitted to DLAS, no later than December 31, 2012.
