Executive Summary:
The Virginia Autism Advisory Council is the legislative body charged with promoting coordination of services and resources among agencies involved in the delivery of services to Virginians with autism spectrum disorders (ASDs) and increasing public awareness of such services and resources.

Section 30-327 of the Code of Virginia provides that the Commission shall submit to the Governor and the General Assembly progress updates and recommendations by December 1, 2013. The following is a summary of the Council's progress updates and recommendations.
