Old Dominion University identified and paid $141,000 to 164 recipients, exceeding the SCHEV goal of 140. Additionally, Old Dominion University was approved to pay $63,500 in Bonus awards to 79 recipients and $118,000 in Incentive awards to 148 recipients.

Old Dominion University continues to promote degree attainment in recruiting initiatives. We have deployed the Net Price Calculator to assist online students investigating degree completion through the Online Virginia Network partnership with George Mason University. We continue to offer on-site admission programs at local VCCS campuses such as Tidewater Community College, Thomas Nelson Community College, and NOVA (Loudon, Manassas, Annandale and Woodbridge). We also partner with Tidewater Community College with a reverse transfer program.

Old Dominion University provides detailed Award Letters to all transfer students, maintains regular communications with transfer students and holds separate Transfer Preview (orientation) programs throughout the year. Transfer Grants are discussed at each of these encounters.
