Old Dominion University identified and paid $163,000 to 191 recipients, exceeding the SCHEV goal of 140. Additionally, Old Dominion University was approved to pay $91,000 in Bonus awards to 111 recipients and $142,500 in Incentive awards to 177 recipients.

Old Dominion University continues to promote degree attainment in recruiting initiatives. We provide the Net Price Calculator to assist online students investigating degree completion through the Online Virginia Network partnership with George Mason University. We continue to offer on-site admission programs at local VCCS campuses such as Tidewater Community College, Thomas Nelson Community College, and NOVA (Loudon, Manassas, Annandale and Woodbridge). We also partner with Tidewater Community College with a reverse transfer program.

During COVID-19 closures virtual meetings are available through the use of Microsoft Teams and ZOOM.

Old Dominion University provides detailed hardcopy and electronic access to the Salesforce software tool for Award notice information to all transfer students, maintains regular communication with transfer students and holds separate Transfer Orientation programs throughout the year. Transfer Grants are discussed at each of these encounters.
