This report has been prepared in accordance with and fulfills the requirements of: 

§ 10.1-1020(B) of the Code of Virginia (Virginia Land Conservation Foundation), which requires the Foundation to conduct a grant round each year to identify and rank projects for the subsequent fiscal year and provide copies of such project rankings to the Chairmen of the House Committee on Appropriations and the Senate Committee on Finance by December 15 of each year. This report includes the ranking of those projects submitted during a request for proposals held from September 22 through October 30, 2020.

There is no funding associated with this request for proposals and ranking of projects. This report includes a listing of potential projects to illustrate the current financial need for land conservation. Should funding be provided in the Fiscal Year 2022 Appropriations Act, then the Virginia Land Conservation Foundation will conduct an official and comprehensive grant round in Calendar Year 2021 to award the available state funds.
