Old Dominion University identified and paid $158,500 to 184 recipients, exceeding the SCHEV goal of 140. Additionally, Old Dominion University was approved to pay $91,000 in Bonus awards to 107 recipients and $144,000 in Incentive awards to 171 recipients.

Old Dominion University continues to promote degree attainment in recruiting initiatives. We have deployed the Net Price Calculator to assist online students investigating degree completion through the Online Virginia Network partnership with George Mason University. We continue to offer on-site admission programs at local VCCS campuses such as Tidewater Community College, Thomas Nelson Community College, and NOVA (Loudon, Manassas, Annandale and Woodbridge). We also partner with Tidewater Community College with a reverse transfer program.

Old Dominion University provides informative Award Notices to all transfer students and access to the Self-Service Portal, maintains regular communications with transfer students and holds separate Transfer Preview (orientation) programs throughout the year. Transfer Grants are discussed at each of these encounters. Remote counseling appointments have been available to all students during campus closures and for students wishing to minimize in-person contact.
