On March 7, 2025, we received a letter from the Clerk of the Senate of Virginia informing us that pursuant to Rule 20 (o) of the Rules of the Senate of Virginia, the Senate Committee on Finance and Appropriations referred the subject matters contained in House Bills 1959, 1972, and 2538 to the Commission on Early Childhood Care and Education for study. You requested that the appropriate committee chair and bill patrons receive written reports, with copies to the Senate Clerk’s Office, by November 1, 2025.
