In accordance with Chapter 10, of Title 9 of the Virginia Code, the following report is made on the activities of the Commission on Veterans' Affairs.

This Commission became operational on July 1, 1974 to serve for the biennium ending with the convening of the legislature in January 1976. The law cited above, giving directions as to its mission is attached at Appendix A. As a part of this report there is attached at Appendix B a letter dated July 28, 1975, addressed to each member of the Legislature, which is believed self-explanatory. In brief, this letter points out the difficulties which this Commission has encountered in attempting to carry out its mission.
