Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) actively promotes the Two-Year College Transfer Grant Program (CTG) and is dedicated to increasing visibility and access of this award for our students transferring from the Virginia Community College System and Richard Bland College.

From the 2017-18 to the 2018-19 school year we have increased our total number of CTG recipients by 111 students. In the 2017-18 school year, we awarded 150 students $124,449.14 in CTG with 132 of those students receiving the incentive award totaling $100,000.00. For that same year we awarded 72 CTG bonus awards to students in STEM-N majors totaling $57,948.14. For 2018-19 our totals across all three awards increased substantially. We awarded 261 students CTG totaling $216,807.67 with 246 of those students receiving the incentive award for a total of $196,853.67. Our total recipients for the STEM-N bonus award increased to 123 recipients with an award total of $96,170 in the 2018-19 school year.
