The Virginia Veterans Services Foundation (the Foundation) is an independent state agency established to support Virginia's veterans and their families. Governed by an appointed Board of Trustees, the Foundation provides supplemental funding for designated veterans' programs and services administered by the Department of Veterans Services (DYS) when state and federal resources are insufficient.

The Foundation relies entirely on the generosity of community and civic organizations, businesses, corporations, grants, and individual donors. Every dollar raised stays in Virginia to support veterans in crisis or in need of assistance.
