RD365 - Annual Report on the Utilization, Length of Stay and Expenditures in Residential Care by Locality for Children Served through the Comprehensive Services Act
Executive Summary: The 2006 Appropriations Act (Item 279, B 2.d3) requires the Office of Comprehensive Services (OCS) to report to the Governor and Chairmen of the House Appropriations and Senate Finance Committees on utilization rates and average lengths of stays in residential care statewide and by locality. Each locality is required to submit to OCS “information on utilization of residential facilities for treatment of children and length of stay in such facilities.” This report is due by December 15 of each year. Residential care is defined as group homes, residential treatment facilities, or psychiatric hospitals for this report. This report provides utilization, length of stay, and expenditure data on residential placements by locality and statewide for program year 2006. |
